Our range of suites and function rooms are sure to provide a perfect setting for your reception, whether you are planning a large party of over 100 guests, or a small intimate setting.
The following pages will give you a taste of what we have to offer, but to get a true feeling of the Lodge and its beautiful surroundings, please do arrange to come and visit us.
The Chapel Suite
The hotel is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships. You can have enjoy your whole wedding experience in one unique setting. The Chapel suite with its enchanting minstrels gallery, fireplace and oak panelling provides a wonderfully romantic atmosphere in which you can exchange your vows. The Chapel suite can hold up to 80 guests for a civil ceremony.
The Ballroom
The Ballroom is our largest suite, and can cater for between 70 and 120 guests for a seated wedding breakfast. Fully self contained, the suite boasts air conditioning, a private bar facility and a large patio area overlooking and with direct access to the surrounding parkland. For your evening reception the Ballroom can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests. Minimum numbers apply for weddings taking place on a Saturday between May and October
The Parkside Restaurant
With its ‘listed’ hand painted gold leaf ceiling and tasteful décor, The Parkside Restaurant ensures a warm and elegant feel. Reception drinks can be taken in the Foyer bar with its Oak panelled walls, grand open log fire and ceiling Cupola, or outside on the terrace overlooking the rose garden and wonderful parkland. The Parkside Restaurant can cater for between 60 and 100 guests for a seated wedding breakfast and up to 150 guests for an evening reception. Minimum numbers apply to weddings taking place on a Saturday between May and October
Chapel, Sherwood, & Conservatory Suites
These intimate rooms when used together can cater for up to 55 people for your Wedding Breakfast, and 150 for your evening reception.
The Drawing Room
For a small intimate wedding reception for up to 18 people the Drawing Room is an ideal room overlooking the Hotel grounds. Reception drinks can be taken in the oak panelled Foyer Bar. This room is perfect for a wedding reception not requiring an evening function.
The Queen Victoria, and other Accommodation
The Queen Victoria is the hotel’s main suite, and offers the very best in luxury, space and furnishings. The Hotel also offers a variety of en-suite rooms covering all your guests’ needs, including doubles, twins, and four poster rooms.
